| Monitoring and Alerting |
Our Monitoring Services will poll your system at regular intervals (usually 5 minutes, depending on the test) using SNMP and ICMP. Firewall changes to your network or ISP connections may be required to perform these tests; Bulletproof will advise you on the relevant and most secure changes that need to be made. Depending on the thresholds set for a particular test, an alert may be sent via email, SMS, or Pager to a list of contacts. A limit of 15 SMS or Pager messages per month is included in the service, after which a $0.50 ex. GST per messages fee applies. (Note that an Alert may result in multiple messages if multiple contacts receive it). |

Bulletproof Monitoring Services check the following infrastructure vital statistics:: Routers, Switches and Firewalls: - System Up/Down (Host SLA Check)
- CPU Load
- Memory Utilisation
- Link/VPN Up/Down
- Link/VPN Utilisation (Kb/sec.)
- Link/VPN Latency (ms)
- Link/VPN Packet Loss (%)
Servers: - System Up/Down (Host SLA Check)
- CPU Load
- RAM Utilisation (%)
- Disk Space Utilisation (standard partitions depending on O/S - %)
- Process Fingerprints (a list of processes that should be running; extras generate Warnings, missing generate Critical state).
- PING RTT
- Service Checks (eg HTTP response time) depending on the server purpose.

| Real Time Reporting |
The result of the monitoring polling will be displayed on the Bulletproof Control Centre. The following information is displayed: - Link Performance Graphs (if the monitored device is a router or switch), which includes links through to historical reporting (see below). Links are measured for Latency and Packet Loss.
- Server Performance Graphs (if the monitored device is a server), which includes links through to historical reporting (see below). CPU Load, RAM Use, and Disk Use are measured as standard, and other custom measured graphs are available at additional cost.
- Real-time status of all the monitored services (OK, Warning or Critical, plus additional information) is displayed on the Bulletproof Control Centre. The interface can also be used to schedule downtime (to prevent any alerts during maintenance), acknowledge problems for device or service alerts, and make general comments for others in your IT team to see.

| Historical Reportiing |
The online interface can be used to report on historical monthly periods for monitored devices. The result is an easily digested report which shows the overall SLA (uptime) for a given device, as well as the overall percentage of the month that each of a device's services (such as disk space or CPU utilisation) was OK, Warning or Critical. Acknowledgement comments are also listed, to enable a full audit trail of incident handling. This reporting is also included in a monthly email report sent to a list of contacts of your choice. |

| Unlimited Domain Name Management |
Every Bulletproof Networks service includes free re-delegation, hosting and DNS changes of all your domain names that are registered and automatically renewed through Bulletproof (a TPP Internet partner). This ensures your domains are seamlessly transferred, are always available and that minor but crucial changes are performed promptly and correctly. |
Service Limitations
- The Monitoring Service is provided in good faith and to the best of our ability for availability, performance and security.
- The Service is monitored by our monitoring systems 24x7. The monitoring of the Service includes notifications by email and optionally by SMS, pager or fax. Notifications can be sent to you 24x7, Extended Hours, Business Hours, or not at all as you choose. The monitoring of the Service includes up to 15 SMS, pager or fax messages per month per service, after which a 50c/message ex. GST fee applies. We use MessageNet to deliver messages.
- Non-intrusive methods are used for monitoring the standard functions of your Service including standard Internet services such as SMTP, and SNMP-based process checks. The frequency of the checks is approximately every 5 minutes. This can be tuned to be less often as you wish. Custom testing can be engineered on request at extra cost.
- As part of your Service, you must nominate one or more Technical Contact(s). Change Requests must come from, and Incident and other reporting and liaison will be sent to Technical Contact(s). Changes to your nominated Technical Contacts must come from another nominated Technical Contact or the Contact who signed the Agreement in writing, and a phone call to our recorded details for that contact will be made to verify the request.
- Change Requests will be fielded during Business Hours and commenced within 1 Business Day of your lodgement of a request for change in writing via email or fax from your Nominated Technical Contacts to the our support area. Our support contact details are support@bulletproof.net or 02 9663 9077.
- Our maintenance window is 00:00 - 03:00 AEST Thursdays each week. During this time our monitoring, reporting and customer access systems may be unavailable for short periods. At least 24 hours' notice will be given for such downtime events.
- Emergency scheduled downtime may occur for security reasons. Due to their nature minimal notice may be given for such events. We endeavour to minimise such occurrences.
