Change Alerting for Existing Process

To update the alerting level for an existing process, log into Bulletproof's Control Centre (https://cc.bulletproof.net), with the username and password supplied to you.

Select 'Update Process Fingerprint' from the Self Service section of the menu on the left-hand side of the webpage.

Select the service ID of the server that requires updating from the list.

Under the section entitled 'Process currently in config file', search for the process in question and, using the radio buttons, change the monitoring level for individual processes.

Pleas note that processes that should be running but have stopped generate a CRITICAL monitoring alert that is sent to you via email and SMS. Extra processes that are running that perhaps should not generate a WARNING alert.

Press submit at the bottom of the page to update the process fingerprint list for this particular server.
